You’re here because

  1. Most people treat nutrition reactively — changing what they eat after something goes wrong.
  2. But you're not the average person.
  3. Your caloric needs, your macronutrient requirements, your micronutrient gaps, your training demands, your stress load, your sleep patterns, your health history — none of these are average.
  4. You're not looking for a quick fix. You're looking for a strategy that compounds.

For High Performers, Athletes, and Adults Who Play the Long Game

Most people treat nutrition reactively — changing what they eat after something goes wrong. A diagnosis. A wake-up call. A number on a lab report that finally gets their attention.

In Emily’s
words

Nutrition strategy coaching is for the people who don't want to wait for that moment. It's for adults who understand that what you eat is one of the highest-leverage investments you can make in your future health — and who want to start making that investment now, with expert guidance, before the body forces the conversation.

This is for high performers. Athletes. Adults who play the long game. People who approach their health with the same intentionality they bring to their career, their finances, and their relationships. You're not looking for a quick fix. You're looking for a strategy that compounds.

What Makes Nutrition Strategy Different

There's a difference between eating healthy and executing a nutrition plan. Eating healthy is a direction. A dietary strategy is a plan — specific, specific to your situation, and designed for your real biology, your actual goals, and your actual life.

Most nutrition advice is built for the average person. But you're not the average person. Your caloric needs, your macronutrient requirements, your micronutrient gaps, your training demands, your stress load, your sleep patterns, your health history — none of these are average. And your nutrition strategy shouldn't be either.

At HealthierSpan, we build nutrition strategies that are:

Data-informed. We review your labs, your body composition, your training data if you have it, and your health history. We identify the specific nutritional gaps and opportunities that matter most for your goals. We track meaningful biomarkers over time so you can see what's working and what needs adjustment.

Performance-oriented. Whether your performance metric is a race time, a body composition goal, a strength PR, or simply the energy to keep up with your kids and your career — we build a nutrition plan that supports that performance, not just general health.

Sustainable. The best nutritional approach in the world is useless if you can't execute it. We build around your real life — your travel schedule, your social obligations, your food preferences, your cooking reality. No rigid meal plans. No food rules that break under pressure. A flexible framework that holds up when life gets messy.

Our Approach at HealthierSpan Nutrition Strategy

We start with a complete 75-minute assessment covering your health history, current eating patterns, lab values, training and activity, goals, and lifestyle. You leave with a clear direction and an individualized starting plan delivered in writing within 48 hours.

With that baseline established, we build through structured coaching sessions that include:

Individualized nutrition targets. Caloric, macronutrient, and micronutrient targets built around your unique goals — whether that's body composition change, performance optimization, disease prevention, or all of the above.

Meal framework and timing strategy. Not a rigid meal plan — a flexible framework that gives you structure without rigidity. Meal timing strategies that support your training, your energy, and your goals. Food sequencing and composition strategies that optimize blood sugar stability and nutrient absorption.

Supplement strategy. Evidence-based supplement recommendations built around your individual labs and goals. No generic stacks. No throwing supplements at the wall. Precision based on your actual data.

Lab review and biomarker tracking. We track how your nutrition changes are moving the numbers that matter — lipids, blood sugar, inflammatory markers, body composition — and adjust the strategy accordingly.

Real-world troubleshooting. Travel nutrition. Social dining. Holiday eating. Training season vs. off-season. Life transitions. We address the real obstacles you face, not theoretical ones.

What clients say

1:1 clients, in their own words. Initials and ages only.

Honestly, I just wanted someone to tell me what to eat. Instead, she asked me what mattered to me and why I kept ignoring my health. A year later, my cholesterol is better, my doctor’s appointments go better, but most importantly I feel capable again.
M.T., 52 · 1:1 client
What surprised me was how much we talked about my actual life—my schedule, my stress, why I was skipping meals then binging at night. Now I meal prep without thinking about it, and I actually have energy to do things after work.

What's your stance on GLP-1s for weight loss?

I’m neither pro nor anti GLP-1. I’m pro-strategy.

GLP-1 medications can be highly effective tools when used appropriately. They also come with risks. Both are true.

My job isn’t to tell you whether or not to take them. It’s to help you make informed decisions and ensure you’re protecting your muscle, bone, brain, and metabolic health throughout the process. If you’re taking a GLP-1 without a strategy, you need one. Start with the GLP-1 nutrition coaching page.

What's included in your programs?

All of it: nutrition, movement, sleep, stress, hormones, gut health, metabolic function, biomarkers, supplements, mindset, and habit formation.

I’ll equip you with whatever tools you’re missing. We also strategize for doctors appointments, work together to find specialists, personal trainers, etc to leave no stone unturned.

Holistic doesn’t just mean we talk about everything, it means we understand how everything connects. Your body is one system. Poor sleep drives poor food choices. Chronic stress impacts your gut health. Inflammation affects your energy and metabolism.

We identify what’s actually driving your symptoms, address root causes instead of just managing symptoms, and build sustainable strategies that last.

How long are your programs?

It depends on your goals and situation.

The 1:1 program is 3 months with 10 sessions, weekly at first and then every other week. The couples program is 6 months with 16 sessions. Group programs run 6 weeks with weekly sessions, and the wedding glow up is 6 weeks.

We’ll discuss the right timeframe for you during our initial conversation.

How do I get started?

Book a free 30‑minute strategy call, fill out the contact form, or email me directly at emily@healthierspan.com. I’ll respond within 1-2 business days to discuss your goals, answer questions, and determine which program is the best fit.

From there, I make enrollment and scheduling as easy as possible. You’ll be set up and ready for your first session quickly.

Health isn’t luck.
It’s a learnable skill.
