For adults 30+
who have tried it all
People who want to get off the hamster wheel, and couples invested in their health together. Read both lists before you book; I’d rather you know now.
You’re a good fit if
- An adult 30+ (or couple) who values long-term quality of life
- Ready to play an active role in your health decisions: medications, diagnoses, symptom tracking
- You value prevention, not just treatment
- Looking for personalized strategy, not generic meal plans
- Willing to make sustainable changes
- Willing to question healthcare norms and think critically about trends
Probably not, if
- Your only goal is rapid weight loss
- You want someone to just tell you exactly what to eat
- You’re not ready to actively participate in the process
How it
works
Individualized nutrition is the only way. Health isn’t luck; it’s a learnable skill, and this is the method.
- 01
Comprehensive assessment
We deep dive into your health history, lifestyle, and current biomarkers. Bring your bloodwork, your medications and your calendar.
- 02
Personalized plan
Together, we create a customized and sustainable strategy based on your unique needs and goals. Rooted in research, tailored to your kitchen, your schedule and your family.
- 03
Ongoing support
Accountability, structured check-ins, and adjustments so your habits become long term. Text, voice notes and email between every call.
What we actually work on
- Bloodwork, read properly
- Your labs, medications and supplements reviewed in the first session, and interpreted in plain language before your next appointment.
- Medication strategy
- GLP-1s, HRT, blood pressure and cholesterol drugs: neither for nor against, but a plan to protect muscle, bone, brain and gut while they work.
- Appointment prep
- What to ask, which labs to request, which specialist to see. We bridge the gap between your doctors and your daily life.
- Hormones at every age
- Perimenopause, menopause and andropause handled as nutrition and lifestyle strategy, coordinated with your endocrinologist or gynecologist.
- Sleep and stress
- Circadian rhythm, sleep hygiene and stress resilience as protocols with accountability, not advice.
- Your kitchen and your habits
- Pantry, grocery plan, batch prep and habit loops that make the healthy choice the default one. No meal plans.

Meet Emily
Emily is a mission driven Registered Dietitian with over 15 years of experience in the health and wellness field. She infuses her diverse background and unwavering values into everything she touches, focusing on empowerment, empathy, and enhanced quality of life.
I spent a decade telling clients what their bodies needed while completely ignoring mine. Then, I had kids. I was living in a body I didn’t recognize anymore. I couldn’t put my health on the back burner and expect to feel great, or grow a healthy family.
I rebuilt my foundation with food, movement, and inner work. I combined my very traditional medicine education with functional wisdom, plus logic, then I got consistent. That’s what I do now for every adult that works with me. We cut the noise. We question the status quo. We build something so simple and sustainable that you don’t have to think about it constantly.
Being healthy isn’t about being perfect. It’s about showing up day over day, week over week. I live upstate New York where you’ll find me chasing waterfalls, reading biographies, trying new restaurants, and hitting the gym.
What clients say
Honestly, I just wanted someone to tell me what to eat. Instead, she asked me what mattered to me and why I kept ignoring my health. That hit hard. We worked on the small things—drinking more water, eating breakfast, going to bed earlier. It made all the difference. A year later, my cholesterol is better, my doctor’s appointments go better, but most importantly I feel capable again.
What surprised me was how much we talked about my actual life—my schedule, my stress, why I was skipping meals then binging at night. Now I meal prep without thinking about it, and I actually have energy to do things after work. I feel in control, proud of myself, and able to enjoy eating and taking care of myself again!!!
You’ve had a massive impact on my life! My relationship with food has never been better. We still quote you on “YOLO has consequences” and other Emilyisms 😂

What makes you different?
Three things:
- Longevity focus. Most nutritionists solve for next month. I solve for the next 30 years. Because what you can’t sustain doesn’t matter.
- Traditional + Integrative. I’m trained in evidence-based nutrition AND integrative approaches. This means addressing nutrition, movement, sleep, stress, and mindset as one system—not isolated problems.
- Strategic support for complex decisions. I go deeper and provide the comprehensive guidance your doctor doesn’t have time for.
What's your stance on GLP-1s for weight loss?
I’m pro-strategy.
GLP-1 medications can be highly effective tools when used appropriately. They also come with risks. Both are true.
My job isn’t to tell you whether or not to take them. It’s to help you make informed decisions and ensure you’re protecting your muscle, bone, brain, and metabolic health throughout the process. If you’re taking a GLP-1 without a strategy, you need one. Start with the GLP-1 nutrition coaching page.
What's included in your programs?
All of it: nutrition, movement, sleep, stress, hormones, gut health, metabolic function, biomarkers, supplements, mindset, and habit formation.
I’ll equip you with whatever tools you’re missing. We also strategize for doctors appointments, work together to find specialists, personal trainers, etc to leave no stone unturned.
Holistic doesn’t just mean we talk about everything, it means we understand how everything connects. Your body is one system. Poor sleep drives poor food choices. Chronic stress impacts your gut health. Inflammation affects your energy and metabolism.
We identify what’s actually driving your symptoms, address root causes instead of just managing symptoms, and build sustainable strategies that last.
How long are your programs?
It depends on your goals and situation.
The 1:1 program is 3 months with 10 sessions, weekly at first and then every other week. The couples program is 6 months with 16 sessions. Group programs run 6 weeks with weekly sessions, and the wedding glow up is 6 weeks.
We’ll discuss the right timeframe for you during our initial conversation.
How do I get started?
Book a free 30‑minute strategy call, fill out the contact form, or email me directly at emily@healthierspan.com. I’ll respond within 1-2 business days to discuss your goals, answer questions, and determine which program is the best fit.
From there, I make enrollment and scheduling as easy as possible. You’ll be set up and ready for your first session quickly.
Do you work virtually with people outside of NY?
Yes! All client work is virtual, and I support clients globally.
What if I already have a chronic disease and feel like I'm doomed?
You’re not doomed.
Yes, some diagnoses are permanent. But that doesn’t mean decline is inevitable. With the right strategy, we can reduce symptoms, lower medication needs, prevent complications, protect your muscle and metabolic health, and dramatically improve your quality of life.
I work with clients who’ve reversed prediabetes, improved inflammatory markers, reduced pain, regained energy they thought was gone forever—even with longstanding diagnoses like diabetes, autoimmune conditions, and heart disease.
Chronic disease doesn’t mean declining health is inevitable. It means we build a smarter strategy: protecting what’s working, addressing what’s not, and preventing complications before they start. Your diagnosis doesn’t define your potential or your future.
Will I lose or gain weight working with you?
That depends on what your body needs.
Weight is an outcome, not a goal. When you optimize nutrition, movement, sleep, and stress management, your body composition naturally shifts toward what’s healthiest for you—which might mean gaining muscle, losing fat, or both.
Some clients see the scale go up as they build muscle. Others see it go down as they reduce inflammation and visceral fat. Most care less about the number once they feel stronger, have more energy, and see biomarkers improve.
If your primary goal is just seeing a lower number on the scale, we might not be aligned.
Can I use ChatGPT or Mark Hyman's book and DIY this?
Sure! Books, podcasts, YouTube, and popular health experts are great starting points.
But they cannot account for YOUR specific medications, health history, injuries, work schedule, or family situation. Even excellent general advice isn’t personalized medical guidance.
Information is everywhere. Strategic application tailored to your life is what I provide. I take an individualized approach with real-time problem-solving and support that adapts as you do.
If self-education is working for you, that’s great. Most people come to me when they realize knowing what to do and actually doing it consistently are two very different things.
Can you give me the magic pill for all of my health problems?
If I had one, I’d certainly have my assistant share it with you, as I’d be retired on a beach.
What I do offer is strategic problem-solving, personalized nutrition and lifestyle planning, and support that adapts as your body and life change. Health challenges don’t have one-size-fits-all solutions, but they do have solutions tailored to YOU.
No magic. Just strategy, science, and support.
Do you follow your own advice?
I know too much not to! Just like my clients, my goal isn't perfection.
Health isn't luck.
It's a learnable skill.
